Remember Sophs, we take Session 2 of our EOC tomorrow (you may be in a different session than last time, so come see Mrs. Lile if you aren't sure). Session 2 is the writing portion of the test:
-Blended Writing: Narrative, Informative, and Persuasive/Argumentative -2-3 sources will be provided (read and use textual evidence from them to back you in your essay). -Take the prompt seriously. -Write a 5-paragraph (or more) essay: I. Intro with Thesis Statement II. Body Paragraph with Major Point #1 and explanation/backup evidence III. Body Paragraph with Major Point #2 and explanation/backup evidence IV. Body Paragraph with Major Point #3 and explanation/backup evidence V. Conclusion/Final Point -Can use paper and pencil to prewrite/outline (will be provided). -Spell/Grammar Check and Proofread -You can use a dictionary, thesaurus, or a grammar handbook if needed (will be provided).
Please do the following to prepare: 1. Bring a charged Chromebook. 2. Bring a drink with a lid. 3. Bring your IR book in case you finish early. 4. Get good, long sleep tonight. 5. Eat a good, protein-rich breakfast. 6. Wear layers. 7. Come with a positive attitude and readiness to write.

We are officially 2 weeks out from out annual elementary art show!!! Don't forget to mark your calendars for an "out of this world" art experience. The night will include art from all k-5th grade classes, photo ops, treats, and a make and take craft. We hope to see you all there.
