We would like to congratulate our Teacher of the Year recipients from each building, as well as our Support Staff Member of the Year. These outstanding individuals were recognized this morning during an awards assembly. Our Elementary Teacher of the Year is Becky Petty. Mrs. Petty teaches first grade and serves on several committees. She has been a tremendous support to her coworkers and is known throughout the elementary for her welcoming and positive spirit. Our Middle School/High School Teacher of the Year is Taylar Mooney. Mrs. Mooney teaches elementary art, sixth-grade art, and yearbook, and she also helps coach. Her nominations highlighted her positive, can-do attitude and the enthusiasm she brings to her work each day. Our Archie R-V Support Staff Member of the Year is Nurse Andrea. As the district’s head nurse and community liaison, she works tirelessly to support students and families by securing resources, caring for students, and helping meet the many needs of our school community. Nurse Andrea’s supportive relationships and dedication shine through in all she does for Archie. Congratulations to these deserving individuals, and thank you for the positive impact you make on our students, staff, and school community every day! Students in grades 4-8 who read the Mark Twain and Truman state award nominees this year celebrated their reading with a pizza party, park visit, and new books for summer reading. Congrats, readers!

⚾ District Baseball Update ⚾

Tomorrow’s district baseball game (May 19, 2026) has been moved to Warrensburg High School and will now begin at 8:30 p.m.

Due to expected weather conditions, the game has been relocated to Warrensburg’s turf field. All plans remain weather permitting. ☔

🎟 Admission: $6.00 cash at the gate
🚫 No passes will be accepted
🥤There will most likely NOT be a concession stand.

🚌 Bus will leave at 5:30 p.m.

If games are relocated, please note that game times will likely change as well. Whether the games are at Crest Ridge or Warrensburg, all tickets will be $6.00, cash at the gate.

Yep, you guessed it...another state qualifier, and another NEW SCHOOL RECORD! Lake Callahan just ran a 50.44 to place 2nd in the 400 m dash. 🥈🏃🏽‍♂️

Add the 4x100 m relay to the list of state qualifiers..with a new school record of 43.77. 🥉

Westyn Bryant is the next state qualifier...Sectional Champion, New PR and a new School Record with a javelin throw of 47.88 meters. Way to go Westyn🥇💪🏽🌪️💪🏽

The Boys 4x200 m Relay are the Sectional Champions with a new school record...1:31.30! State Bound Baby!🥇🌪️💪🏽

Thanks to a generous donation from our wonderful community, we have Brooke's Bags available! Brooke's Bags are handmade bags filled with pads, liners and tampons. These are available to any female student in our school free of charge. Please stop by the nurse's office to get one or reach out to Nurse Andrea with any questions.

Archie Middle School students enjoyed their rewards field trip today! They spent the day perfecting their golf swings at Topgolf and enjoyed lunch at Chick-fil-A. #ArchieStrong

Look at the progress! The Archie School District in partnership with Kidz Inc is SO close to opening a daycare on the school campus. A special thanks goes to a few more partners that have been instrumental in making this dream become a reality! Thank you Insight Sewer, FasTrac Construction Products and Ferguson Home. We couldn't have done it without your support!

Middle School art classes had a blast on our sculpture tour at the Nelson Atkins Museum of art! Students got to follow along a docent led, interactive tour of the sculptures outside the museum as well as enjoy lunch on the lawn.

Donna Peirce is officially “Hanging Up the Apron, But Never the Memories!” Please join the Archie R-V School District tomorrow, Friday, May 15, as we celebrate Grandma Donna and her many years of dedicated service. We will be hosting a come-and-go reception from 4:00–6:00 p.m. to honor her and the countless memories she has created over the years. Donna would love to see students, parents, alumni, and community members as we celebrate this special milestone together!

It was great celebrating the Class of 2026 at our Senior Awards Ceremony yesterday morning! We are proud of our seniors and all of their hard work, accomplishments, and bright futures ahead.
