An Archie High School Class of 2025 graduate is continuing to do amazing things! 🌟 Now a student at Texas State University in San Marcos, Meah McCoy recently presented her research on Bilateral Asymmetry in a Sierra Leone-born, wild-caught male chimpanzee pelvis 🧠🐒 Using the knowledge and skills she developed over the years, she is taking her education to the next level! 📚💪 Even better—her former high school teachers were able to watch her presentation via Zoom and support her from afar 💻❤️ We are proud of you, Meah! 🎉👏

You will need headphones that plug into your Chromebook for some questions.

Session 2: Performance Event (Essay) (Tuesday, 4/21, Hours 2-4 or 6-8)
Blended Writing: Narrative, Informative, and Persuasive/Argumentative
Write a 5-paragraph (or more) essay.

Tips to Be Successful:
Get good sleep the nights before.
Eat a high-protein breakfast.
Come prepared (WITH A CHARGED CHROMEBOOK!), ready to work, and with a positive attitude.

Other Info:
Remember, EOC testing won’t be fun, but you are given the time to do really well on it.
While there are few high-stakes decisions made based on your scores currently, that CAN change in the future, so don’t “close any doors” on future opportunities because you decide not to give this test all you’ve got!
You are intelligent; I have seen your brain power and your work ethic.
I know you are too smart to allow this test to beat you.
Show the state!🔥
