We welcomed our new Kindergarten Whirlwinds this week at Kindergarten Readiness Night. While the parents learned all about Kindergarten in the parent meeting, the kids did too by going on a short bus ride, practicing the lunch line with a snack and checking out the playground. The smiles say it all and we can't wait to see them back in August!

7th grade art wrapped up teacher appreciation week by gifting some of our favorite teachers and staff members a caricature of themself.

The Archie baseball team traveled to The Barstow School and came up short. #ArchieStrong

The Senior Class of 2026 celebrated their final day of school by revisiting childhood memories on the playground, enjoying one last lunch prepared by Grandma Donna, and soaking Mr. Schulte with water guns! A perfect way to wrap up their time at Archie. #ArchieStrong

The Cereal Box Project in my 4th and 8th hour Forensic Science classes turned out great! Let's hope none of these products ever make it to the store shelves. Great job students!

This evening, Archie seniors Gabby Moore and Bryson Wilkins presented at the LEAD Center Enterprise & Design Spring Showcase, highlighting the outstanding work, growth, and real-world learning experiences they have gained throughout the semester. We are proud of the way they represented Archie! #ArchieStrong

Archie got a big win against Montrose for Baseball Senior Night! Thank you to Jackson, Jonathan and Joey for your dedication to the program. Back at it tomorrow at Barstow. First pitch is at 5:00 p.m.

The Lady Whirlwind softball team’s season came to an end with a loss to Santa Fe in the MSHSAA District Tournament. We are proud of the effort, dedication, and heart these girls showed all season long. #ArchieStrong

Districts!!!
Softball travels to Warrensburg today to take on the Santa Fe Chiefs in the first round of District play. First pitch is 1:00pm!

The Archie MS/HS Spring Concert was held this evening, and students showcased their musical talents for all in attendance under the direction of Ms. Bryson and Mr. Mills. The evening concluded with a special performance by the MS/HS Band of “Seasons Change,” an original composition written and conducted by senior Jackson Martin. #ArchieStrong

🥎 District Softball Location Change 🥎

Due to field conditions, tomorrow’s High School Softball District Game (5/7) has been moved to Warrensburg High School.

📍 Location:
1411 Ridgeview Dr.
Warrensburg, MO 64093

➡️ The softball field is located behind the school. Enter through the main driveway and follow it around to the back to access the field.

⏰ Game times will remain the same, but the bus will leave at 10:45 a.m. instead of 11:00 a.m.
🎟️ Admission: $6.00, cash
🍿 Concessions: Availability is currently unknown; more information will be shared when available.

Weather permitting, games scheduled for 5/11 and 5/12 are expected to return to Crest Ridge High School.

Today’s softball game at Lone Jack (Wednesday, May 6) has been canceled due to wet field conditions and will not be rescheduled with district play beginning tomorrow.

Archie Softball will now turn its focus to the Class 1 District 8 Tournament tomorrow!

“Hanging Up the Apron, But Never the Memories” After countless meals served, endless smiles shared, and years of welcoming and spoiling generations of students, Donna Peirce — better known to many as Grandma Donna — is retiring from the Archie R-V School District. Please join us in honoring Donna at her retirement party on Friday, May 15th, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria — her home away from home. Let’s show up for Donna the way she has always shown up for us through the years. We hope to see you there as we celebrate the memories, dedication, and love she has shared with our school community.

The weather did not cooperate for our Popsicles in the Park event. We will reschedule it for Wednesday, May 13th 11:30-12:30. We hope to see you then instead!

Join us tomorrow evening for the music department's Spring Concert! The performances begin at 7:00pm in the west gym. We hope to see you there!🎶❤️

⚾ The baseball game at Sherwood has been canceled due to wet field conditions and will not be rescheduled.

🥎 The softball game at Lone Jack has also been canceled due to wet field conditions. A possible makeup date is tomorrow, Wednesday, May 6, 2026. A final decision on rescheduling will be made later today.

Archie had a strong showing on the course as well, with two golfers finishing in the top 10 overall:
