The elementary students created a "chain reaction" of thankfulness over the past couple of weeks. We hope the trend of thankfulness continues throughout the year. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving break! #ArdhieStrong

Coach Moore’s Lifetime Activities class spent the day at Rendezvous Climbing Gym, where students had the opportunity to challenge themselves with an activity that was new to all of them. Several students took part in a league-style competition. Corey Robling earned the top spot and a T-shirt to mark his win. Others enjoyed a variety of old-fashioned arcade games while resting between climbs.

For lunch, the class walked next door to order from Bogey's, adding a local food stop to the day’s experience. Overall, it was a memorable and rewarding trip for the entire group. #ArchieStrong

Last Thursday, some junior and senior students attended a University of Central Missouri (UCM) college trip where they learned about college life, financial aid and scholarships, and degree options. Archie also had the benefit of a private tour of the Muleskinner, UCM's campus newspaper, thanks to Archie High alumna Summer Roberts who writes for the paper. Summer is a technical writing major, and she was excited to share insite into her degree, the newspaper, UCM, and college life in general with our students. We are grateful for Summer and the individual attention we received at UCM.

Dear Archie Community,

We are reaching out to share an important update regarding childcare in our community and to ask for your support. With the only licensed daycare center in Archie closing soon, many families will be affected. The district is actively working to secure a long-term childcare solution, but we cannot do it alone.

👉 Please open and read the attached letter for full details about how you can assist.
The letter explains the situation, what the district is doing, and how community members, organizations, and businesses can play a vital role.

Your support—large or small—can help ensure that Archie families have access to dependable, local childcare.

Thank you for taking the time to read the letter and for supporting our community.

The Archie R-V School District would like to share some important information gathered from the Preschool and Childcare Survey. We received sixty-two responses in just two days! The results clearly reflect a significant need for childcare in our community.

We are now moving forward to the next step of this project. Our childcare partner will be submitting the grant application by November 30th. If the grant is awarded, we are hopeful that our community will come together to help make this vision a reality.

Thank you for your continued support! Stay tuned for additional updates.
