Our Archie community is once again rallying around one of our own. Jack’s journey has taken another difficult turn, and he will begin radiation on Friday, March 6 as doctors address new areas that require treatment.

We are hosting a Hat Day for Jack on Wednesday, March 25th and would love to invite our community to join us in showing support.

Students and staff can donate $1 or any amount to wear a hat that day, with all proceeds going directly to help Jack and his family during this next phase of treatment.

Archie Elementary celebrated our Students of the Month for respect on Friday. They received a special coupon to Applebee's, along with a medal and certificate. Different classes were also selected by our specials teachers as Class of the Month. Our five Whirlwind Buck winners were excited to receive their donut coupon from Casey's. We wrapped up the assembly with You Matter passing out February birthday treats. We love our kids, our school, and our community! ❤️#ArchieStrong🌪️

The Parents as Teachers program is planning a March Group Connection just for our 'little ones'. This event is most appropriate for our 1-2 year old children. All kinds of play opportunities will be set up in the Motor Lab Building. You will enter at the elementary playground gate, then enter the doors to the right. The cup stacking unit in P.E. is wrapping up! For some students that means taking a break from timed stacking and doing some creative building. Who do you think built the tallest stack? For others, this is only the calm before the storm. They are preparing to present their fastest times during the timed trials this week and next.The pressure is on to see who will be the fastest. The top five students in each grade level from kindergarten to 6th will get to attend the Cup Stacking Tournament at Midway on March 24th. The excitement is in the air! #ArchieStrong

It was great day for the Whirlwind Band Program. HS band and some JH students were treated with an appearance from Southwest Baptist University’s director Stephen Mathews! Mr. Mathews listened to group and gave advice as were are preparing for MSSBDA Festival next month. In the afternoon we received the posture chairs, which was our goal for this past fundraiser! The JH students were extremely excited about being the first to use the new chairs. Thank you so much to students, parents, and community members who helped us reach this goal!
