UCMTrip2024

Archie High School offered students the opportunity to visit the University of Central Missouri today in order to help those who might be anxious or timorous about what college is really like alleviate their fears in a group setting and with support from a teacher, Mrs. Lile. Attendees enjoyed a presentation on UCM offerings and financial aid, a question and answer session with current students, a majors browsing fair, free lunch at Ellis cafeteria, and a tour of the campus. After the scheduled events, AHS students enjoyed some free time to explore buildings of their choice, listen to the UCM band serenade the mayor of Warrensburg, visit the football field and recreational building, and much more. It was a busy yet fun-filled day that hopefully put students' minds to rest when it comes to what college is like, what it has to offer, and whether or not it is for them. And we wouldn't be surprised if we don't get a few Mules out of the group, too.
